Epic games has announced a partnership with Lego Group for the Children’s Metaverse project

These days, there’s been a lot of talk about the meta-universe.Now Epic Games has announced a long-term partnership with the Lego Group that will see the two companies work together on a meta-universe project aimed at children and families.In the statement, the two companies said they would share their extensive experience to ensure that children’s health is at the heart of the design of the next generation of the Internet.While the statement did not reveal details of the project, it did mention three principles that the Lego Group and Epic Games have agreed on:This isn’t the first time Epic games has set its sights on developing products and services for a younger audience — back in 2020,Epic Games bought SuperAwesome, a technology company that provides safe digital engagement for children’s games.In addition, the Lego Group is committed to providing digital experiences for children, such as an industry-standard digital Child Safety policy in partnership with UNICEF, and a live-streaming social app for children launched in 2016.We still don’t know what the project will look like, or how it will be received by players.At present, the debate about the feasibility of the metasverse continues.
